You will probably want to customize IrfanView early on to fit your needs. You can do this by accessing the Properties dialog box and then modifying its various options.
We will cover some of the more important options, but if you want to read more about all of the options, please refer to the IrfanView Help file by pressing F1 while in IrfanView.
 To access the Properties dialog box, click on the Options menu and then click on Properties or press the P key.
